Cable installation - new internet?

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the new AT&T/SBC Cable TV/Wireless internet bundled package deals.

I'm not up to paying $115 a month for new high-speed internet service, yet my 15 year old's computer animation habits and upcoming digital filmmaking class this year may prompt me to at least pay $65.00 for a bundled cable/internet/VOIP package.

Any thoughts?

Terre, you've been tagged with the "Frugal Subversive" award. This is the link that explains it:

It's on my blog (click on the award image) in case you can't copy that.

Hope your new job is going well!

I do not know where you live, but I am in Round Rock Texas. We have the 'bundle' package from Time Warner Cable and it has been good. I have high speed, (not the super speed, but the middle of the road speed) land line (required for my job as a home day care provider) cable TV and our cell phones (with Sprint) in their package deal. I spend $204.67 a month for all of those. We do have 1 'premium set of chanenels. Our land line offers free long distance too. So I guess it is not too bad when you consider it is for 4 services. Hope this information helps you some. Roxie

Dear Round Rock, Texas:
I am sure hoping that I can get away with the $64.00/month bundled package and not the $114.00/month that I get for the first month as free. I do know it's good to keep an eye out on ma bell. Those bills rack up in a hurry.

Thanks for your feedback,
Terre
